This is but one example: Police had been seeking eight men of African appearance. At a court appearance for one accused, a detective said the 17-year-old was in a gang called KYR (Kill Your Rivals) which targeted Indians and others they saw as vulnerable. The members of " KYR" are at least not shy of their motives, and it has nothing to do with attacking the "vulnerable".Now ,as was the case a decade ago when Indian student were being attacked, the issue was Africans angered by Indian students getting work they felt was theirs. I alluded to the matter in the this article in India's Reddif in '08. Minister Peter Dutton is invariably quite obnoxious in doing so. It reveals his inept understanding of the vast multicultural society we live in today- all over the world. I suggest he sits down or has a 'cuppa' with the very kind of people he critizises to gain a better understanding of their true ethnicity. Peter Dutton should be condemed for his uninformed or misinformed take on multiculturalism.
